Hire.Yoga is a referral directory. We connect the public with independent yoga professionals and connect the research community with practitioners. We do not employ, supervise, endorse, or guarantee any professional listed here.

How we verify a listing
Every practitioner on Hire.Yoga must hold a minimum of a 200-hour RYT registration with Yoga Alliance, in good standing, at the time of listing and at each annual renewal.
Liability insurance — practitioners provide a current certificate of insurance, which we confirm has not expired.
Agreements on file — every listed practitioner has signed our Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice acknowledgment.
We re-verify credentials and insurance at each annual renewal. If a credential or insurance policy lapses, the listing is removed from public search until it's renewed.
What "verified" does not mean: Hire.Yoga does not rate, rank, or endorse practitioners, and does not evaluate the quality of any practitioner's teaching. "Verified" means the credential and insurance information shown on a profile was confirmed against the issuing body or document at the time stated — it is not a guarantee of outcomes. Continuing-education credits listed on a profile are self-reported by the practitioner and are not independently verified.
Earnings disclaimer
Any fee ranges, salary figures, or rate estimates on Hire.Yoga — including the Salary Guide and the practitioner rate-setter — are informational benchmarks only. They are drawn from publicly reported data on comparable professions and are provided to support transparency in the field.
They are not a promise, projection, or guarantee of income, and not a required, recommended, or maximum price for any service. Individual earnings and fees depend on factors we do not control — location, demand, experience, business model, effort, and market conditions. We make no representation that any practitioner will earn, or any seeker will pay, any particular amount. Nothing here is financial, tax, legal, or business advice.
Referrals, not recommendations
Hire.Yoga provides referrals — introductions to independent professionals — not recommendations or endorsements. A listing, a verified credential, an experience tier, or a suggested fee range does not mean Hire.Yoga vouches for, ranks, rates, or guarantees the quality, safety, or suitability of any professional.
We deliberately do not publish star ratings or quality scores. Experience tiers (Foundational · Established · Advanced) are factual descriptors based on verifiable credentials and hours — not a judgment of skill. Seekers are responsible for evaluating any professional and confirming their credentials, insurance, and fit before engaging them.
The founder of Hire.Yoga is also a listed practitioner. Matching logic runs on the same focus-area, location, and availability criteria for every listing, including the founder's — it does not weight, prioritize, or default to the founder over any other qualified, verified practitioner. As the directory grows, matching and review decisions are intended to be handled by staff and contractors independent of any individual listed practitioner.
How referral fees work
Hire.Yoga shares in the fee for the initial consultation only. After that first introduction, there is no profit-sharing, commission, or ongoing fee split on any further sessions, packages, or work arranged directly between a seeker and a professional. Once we've made the introduction, the ongoing relationship — and all of its earnings — belongs entirely to the practitioner and their client.
Consult fee — refund & dispute policy
Your $39 consult fee is split between Hire.Yoga and the practitioner you're matched with at the time of booking. This fee reserves one introductory session.
If your practitioner does not respond within 48–72 hours of booking, contact us and we'll either rematch you with another practitioner at no additional charge or refund your fee in full.
If you need to reschedule, you can do so directly with your practitioner up until a reasonable time before your session (practitioners set and disclose their own rescheduling window).
If you believe you were matched with a practitioner whose focus area clearly doesn't fit what you requested (for example, a general-practice booking when you selected trauma-informed care), contact us within 7 days and we will rematch or refund you.
Once your consult has taken place, the session is complete and the fee is non-refundable — any continued work with your practitioner is a separate, direct arrangement between you and them.
Hire.Yoga is a referral service. We connect you with a practitioner for an initial consult; we do not provide yoga instruction, therapy, or medical advice ourselves, and we are not a party to any ongoing arrangement you make with a practitioner after your consult.
To request a rematch or refund, or to raise a dispute, reach us through The Wisdom Method contact page.
Note: the exact response-time and reschedule windows above will be finalized and confirmed once live booking and payments are active. Nothing here is legal advice.
Practitioner pricing — what to expect
Hire.Yoga is currently in a free beta period for practitioners.
The first 108 practitioners who join will list at no cost through the beta period.
After the beta period ends, every practitioner — including beta members — will choose between a sliding-scale fee (based on criteria such as years in practice or self-reported income band) or the Professional plan at $99/year (full profile, booking tools, analytics, and priority placement).
Beta practitioners are under no obligation to convert to paid and may remove their listing at any time at no cost.
Consult fees ($39, split between Hire.Yoga and practitioner) apply throughout, independent of listing plan.
We'll notify all listed practitioners at least 30 days before any pricing change takes effect for their account.
Note: the exact beta end-date/practitioner threshold and full Professional-plan feature list will be confirmed and published here before the beta period closes.
Privacy & data handling
Hire.Yoga collects only what's needed to run the directory and make introductions:
Practitioners: name, email, location, credentials, insurance status, bio, focus areas, and any samples or links you choose to add.
Seekers: name, email, and the details you provide when requesting an introduction (focus area, location, and a short note).
Researchers: name, institution, and study or call details you choose to post on the Research Board.
Data is stored in a Supabase (Postgres) database and used only to operate the directory: to display approved listings, route introduction requests to a matched practitioner, and let you manage your own profile. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
We currently use standard web analytics to understand traffic (aggregate, not identity-linked) and may use email to contact you about your own listing, booking, or inquiry. Removing your listing or requesting deletion of your data can be done at any time by reaching us through The Wisdom Method.
Hire.Yoga is currently US-only. If you are located outside the United States, please note your information will be processed and stored in the US, and we do not yet support region-specific privacy frameworks like GDPR or CCPA in a formal capacity — this is on our roadmap as the directory grows.
Note: a full, standalone Privacy Policy — covering cookie use, data retention periods, and specific data-subject rights — is in progress and will be published here before Hire.Yoga exits beta. This section is a good-faith interim summary, not a substitute for that policy.
Terms of use
By using Hire.Yoga you agree to the following:
Independent professionals. Everyone listed is an independent practitioner, not an employee, agent, or partner of Hire.Yoga or Wisdom Method. We do not supervise or control the services they provide.
Verification, not warranty. We verify credentials and signed agreements before a profile goes live, as described above. Verification supports trust; it is not a warranty of competence, safety, or outcome.
Consent-first & opt-in. Practitioners and researchers appear here only by choice. Anyone can claim, edit, or remove their own listing at any time.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for your own decisions, including who you hire, what you pay, and how you practice. Yoga and yoga therapy are not a substitute for medical care; consult a qualified provider for medical concerns.
Required agreements. All listed practitioners sign the DEIA Acknowledgement and the Lineage and Abuse Agreement.
Your data. Using this site means you consent to the data handling described in Privacy & data handling above.
No unauthorized use. Directory content may not be copied, harvested, or re-published without consent. We honor the same standard we ask of others.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hire.Yoga is not liable for the acts, omissions, services, or fees of any listed professional, or for decisions made based on information on this site.
Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here.

Governing law & disputes
Hire.Yoga is operated in the United States, currently under Wisdom Method Enterprises LLC (with a transfer to Wisdom Method Media LLC underway — see Why Hire.Yoga for the current ownership structure). These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, we ask that you first contact us through The Wisdom Method so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly — most concerns (a mismatched referral, a billing question) are resolvable without a formal dispute process.
Note: a formal arbitration clause, class-action waiver, and complete jurisdiction terms will be reviewed with counsel and finalized here as Hire.Yoga moves out of beta and payments go live. Nothing on this page is legal advice, and this summary does not create an attorney-client relationship.
